Job Title: Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist (Night Shift Lead)

Schedule: Night Shift (Typically 8:00 PM - 8:00 AM, rotational)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and resilient Specialist OB-GYN to lead our night shift operations. You will be the senior in-charge for all obstetric and gynecological emergencies, managing labor and delivery, performing emergency surgical procedures, and providing expert consultation to the emergency department and inpatient units. This role is critical for ensuring the highest standards of maternal and fetal care during night hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 24/7 senior-level coverage for the Labor & Delivery suite, managing normal and high-risk deliveries.
- Perform emergency surgical procedures, including but not limited to cesarean sections, ectopic pregnancy surgeries, management of postpartum hemorrhage, and emergency hysterectomies.
- Evaluate and manage acute gynecological emergencies (e.g., ovarian torsion, ruptured cysts, severe pelvic infections).
- Provide specialist consultation to the Emergency Room for OB-GYN related cases.
- Supervise and guide junior residents, midwives, and nursing staff on the night shift.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive documentation of all patient encounters and procedures.
- Adhere strictly to hospital protocols, clinical guidelines, and international patient safety standards.
- Participate in night shift handover meetings to ensure continuity of care.
- Be prepared for rapid response to Code Pink (obstetric emergency) and other critical alerts.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid DOH License or DOH passer (Mandatory).
- Board Certification or equivalent in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Minimum 10 years of independent clinical experience post-specialization.
- Proven track record of managing complex obstetric and gynecological emergencies independently.
- Exceptional surgical skills for emergency interventions.
- Ability to work autonomously under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
- Immediate availability to join is highly preferred.
