Position Title: Storekeeper
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (AUH)
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Temporary / Project-Based)

- Storekeeper: Must be fluent in English.
About the Role:
We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Storekeepers to join our team for a 6-month project in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for the efficient receiving, storing, issuing, and recording of materials and equipment, ensuring accuracy and integrity of all stock transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials, equipment, and supplies against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Properly store items in designated locations, ensuring optimal organization, safety, and accessibility.
- Prepare and issue materials, tools, and equipment upon receipt of properly authorized requests (e.g., work orders, requisitions).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and comprehensive physical inventory audits.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the inventory management system (manual or digital) for all stock movements.
- Prepare daily activity reports, stock status reports, and other documentation as required.
- Ensure the store area is kept clean, safe, and organized at all times, complying with health and safety regulations.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely, if required and certified.
- Coordinate with the procurement and project teams to anticipate material needs and prevent shortages.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Storekeeper, preferably within construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, or large-scale logistics environments.
- Language Skills (Based on Role):
- For Bilingual Role: Fluent in both English and Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- For Standard Role: Fluent in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in inventory management principles, stock control, and warehouse operations. Experience with inventory software is a strong advantage.
- Personal Attributes: High level of accuracy, integrity, organization, and physical fitness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification.
- Familiarity with UAE customs and shipping documentation is a plus.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in a warehouse setting.
