Specialist Orthodontist

Job Summary:

We seek a talented Specialist Orthodontist to lead and develop our orthodontic services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive orthodontic care to patients of all ages, utilizing modern techniques and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and create treatment plans for malocclusions, crooked teeth, and jaw irregularities.
Perform a variety of orthodontic treatments using braces, clear aligners, retainers, and other appliances.
Work closely with general dentists, oral surgeons, and other specialists for multidisciplinary cases (e.g., cleft lip/palate).
Maintain detailed patient records, including photographs, X-rays, and study models.
Ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and infection control.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthodontics.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Dental Degree (BDS/DDS) & Relevant Post-Graduate Degree (MDS, MS, or equivalent in Orthodontics).
Specialist Recognition: A recognized specialization qualification (Arab Board, American Board, European Board, or equivalent).
Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of independent practice as a Specialist Orthodontist post-certification.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern orthodontic techniques (fixed, functional, clear aligner therapy).
Licensing: Eligibility to obtain an Omani Dental License (dataflow report required).
Language: Fluency in English is essential. Arabic is a significant advantage.
