Sales Executive
Reports To: Sales Manager / Director of Sales
Job Summary:
The Sales Executive is an entry-level to mid-level sales role responsible for supporting the sales team and proactively generating new business within assigned markets or segments. This role focuses on prospecting, lead conversion, and account management for smaller groups or corporate transient accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct proactive sales calls, site tours, and client meetings to generate new business.
- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts and nurture relationships to secure repeat business.
- Respond to incoming sales leads and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and correspondence for assigned accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information and activity in the CRM system.
- Assist senior sales managers with preparation for client presentations and major bids.
- Represent the hotel at local networking events and trade associations.
- Achieve individual monthly activity and revenue goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in hotel sales, reservations, or front office; or relevant sales experience in a related industry.
- Strong customer service orientation and excellent telephone/email etiquette.
- Basic understanding of hotel operations and market segments.
- Self-motivated, persistent, and eager to learn.
