Executive Assistant to the General Manager

Job Summary:
The Executive Assistant provides high-level, confidential administrative and strategic support to the General Manager (GM). This role requires exceptional discretion, professionalism, and a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations. The EA acts as a gatekeeper, liaison, and project coordinator, enabling the GM to focus on strategic leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the GM’s complex calendar, schedule appointments, coordinate travel arrangements, and prepare itineraries.
- Screen and prioritize all incoming communications (phone, email, mail) for the GM.
- Prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and confidential documents on behalf of the GM.
- Organize and coordinate executive leadership meetings, take minutes, and track action items.
- Act as a liaison between the GM and other department heads, ownership, corporate offices, and key external stakeholders.
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
- Manage special projects as assigned by the GM, often involving research, data compilation, and coordination across multiple departments.
- Process expenses and maintain an organized filing system for the executive office.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably supporting C-level executives in the hospitality industry.
- Impeccable professional demeanor and ability to interact with high-profile individuals.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent business writing skills.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to anticipate needs. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
- Absolute discretion and integrity in handling confidential business and personnel matters.
