Job Overview:
As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be the primary point of contact for our guests, ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience. You will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the menu, provide personalized recommendations, and deliver seamless, professional service in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide warm, attentive, and efficient table service to guests.
- Present menus, articulate daily specials, and answer menu inquiries with thorough product knowledge.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, adhering to established service standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests promptly and courteously.
- Ensure table maintenance throughout the meal (clearing courses, crumbing tables, refilling beverages).
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary.
- Process payments and ensure accurate billing.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a polished, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment.
- Knowledge of POS systems and basic math skills for handling cash.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Food hygiene certificate is a plus.
