Senior Project Coordinator
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Reports to: Project Manager / Program Manager
Job Summary:
The Senior Project Coordinator acts as the central hub for project administration and communication, ensuring seamless coordination between engineering, procurement, construction teams, and the client/consultant. The role is pivotal in maintaining project documentation, schedules, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication between project managers, engineers, superintendents, and external stakeholders (client, consultants, subcontractors).
- Prepare, distribute, and maintain all project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, transmittals, and approval requests.
- Monitor and update project schedules (Primavera P6/MS Project), highlighting delays and critical path activities.
- Coordinate the submission and approval of technical documents, RFIs (Requests for Information), and material submittals.
- Assist in the preparation of progress claims, variation orders, and project close-out documentation.
- Organize and schedule project meetings, workshops, and site visits.
- Track project deliverables and ensure adherence to the document control procedure.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project coordination or administration, specifically within road & bridge, sewage & water, desalination plants, power plants, and building construction environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Construction Management.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, Primavera P6, and document management systems.
- In-depth understanding of construction project lifecycle and terminology.
