Senior Information Security Administrator
Job Purpose:
To oversee and administer the organization's information security systems, including security tools, policies, and procedures. The role involves managing security operations, incident response, and ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor security systems (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewall, EDR).
- Develop and enforce information security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
- Lead incident response activities and forensic investigations.
- Manage access controls and identity management systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulations such as Kuwait CITRA, ISO 27001, NESA, GDPR.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security staff.
- Prepare and present security reports to management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in information security administration.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent required.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, networking, and cloud security.
- Experience with security tools (e.g., Splunk, Qualys, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike).
- Strong understanding of Kuwaiti cybersecurity regulations.
