Information Security Engineer
Job Purpose:
To engineer and implement security solutions, focusing on protecting information assets through technology, processes, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and integrate security technologies (SIEM, DLP, IAM, PAM).
- Develop security architectures for on-premise and cloud environments.
- Automate security processes and response workflows.
- Conduct technical risk assessments and threat modeling.
- Support security compliance initiatives and evidence collection.
- Evaluate new security tools and technologies.
- Work with DevOps teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security engineering.
- Certifications: CISSP, GIAC, Azure/AWS Security, or equivalent.
- Experience with security automation, scripting, and API integration.
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security.
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices and tools.
