Job Title: Senior Plumber (High-Rise Specialist)

Department: Maintenance / Civil

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Facilities Manager

Long Job Description:

We require a skilled and certified Plumber with extensive experience in the unique plumbing challenges of high-rise towers. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing complex pressurized water supply, drainage, and sewage systems across multiple floors to ensure seamless functionality and compliance with Dubai's strict building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair domestic cold and hot water supply lines, drainage pipes, sewage lines, and soil stacks in high-rise buildings.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues such as leaks, blockages, low water pressure, and faulty fixtures (taps, toilets, showers, water heaters).
Work on centralized hot water systems, pumping stations, and water tank monitoring systems.
Conduct pressure tests, locate hidden leaks using specialized equipment, and perform camera inspections of drainage lines.
Read and interpret plumbing schematics, riser diagrams, and as-built drawings for high-rise structures.
Respond to and resolve emergency plumbing situations (e.g., major leaks, sewage backflows) efficiently to prevent property damage.
Ensure all plumbing work adheres to Dubai Municipality regulations, public health standards, and company HSE procedures.
Fabricate and install pipes using various materials (CPVC, Cu, GI, HDPE) and techniques, including threading, welding, and solvent welding.
Maintain a clean and safe work site and accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Candidate Requirements:

Mandatory: ITI Certificate in Plumbing or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on plumbing experience, with a strong focus on high-rise building maintenance in Dubai.
Comprehensive knowledge of high-rise plumbing systems, pump systems, and Dubai's water and drainage codes.
Physical fitness and ability to work in tight spaces and at various heights.
Familiarity with safe isolation procedures for water systems.
