Job Title:Â Senior Electrician (High-Rise Specialist)

Long Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified and safety-conscious Electrician with specialized experience in the electrical systems of high-rise towers. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, safety, and reliability of LV electrical installations, from distribution boards to final circuits, in compliance with DEWA regulations and international safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical systems, including DBs (Distribution Boards), MCCBs, RCCBs, wiring, lighting circuits, and power outlets in high-rise buildings.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical faults, short circuits, earth faults, and phase failures using appropriate testing instruments (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester).
- Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical panels, contactors, relays, and automatic transfer switches (ATS).
- Install and maintain lighting systems, including emergency lights and exit signs, ensuring they are fully functional as per civil defence requirements.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and schematics specific to high-rise infrastructure.
- Strictly follow Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and all electrical safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Respond to electrical emergencies and power failures, ensuring rapid restoration of services.
- Ensure all work complies with DEWA regulations, Dubai Civil Defence codes, and IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- Supervise and certify the work of junior electricians and helpers.
Candidate Requirements:
- Mandatory:Â ITI Certificate in Electrical Trade or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of documented experience as an Electrician in high-rise building maintenance or construction in Dubai.
- Thorough understanding of LV systems, protection devices, and DEWA standards.
- Mandatory: Valid DEWA/ADDC Authorization License/Certificate is a significant advantage.
- Strong emphasis on safety procedures and risk assessment.
