About the Role:
We are a dynamic and growing travel company seeking a passionate and results-driven Senior Sales Travel Consultant to join our elite team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep industry knowledge and sales expertise to craft unforgettable travel experiences for our clients while driving significant revenue growth. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, developing new business, and providing exceptional, personalized service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Drive sales to meet and exceed individual and team targets.
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities (corporate, leisure, MICE).
- Build and maintain a robust portfolio of high-value clients.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans.
- Travel Consulting & Solution Design:
- Provide expert travel advice, creating bespoke itineraries for complex leisure, corporate, and luxury travel.
- Handle all aspects of travel arrangements: flights, hotels, transfers, tours, visas, and insurance.
- Stay ahead of travel trends, new destinations, and product knowledge to offer innovative solutions.
- Manage and resolve any travel-related issues swiftly and professionally.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Deliver a white-glove service, building strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Conduct regular client consultations to understand evolving needs and preferences.
- Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, leading to repeat business and referrals.
- Industry Expertise & Operations:
- Utilize GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) with high proficiency.
- Navigate airline fare rules, ticketing, and industry regulations expertly.
- Mentor junior consultants and share best practices with the team.
- Maintain accurate client records and manage bookings with meticulous attention to detail.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Experience):
- Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience as a Travel Consultant, with a strong focus on sales in the UAE market.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus is preferred).
- Extensive product knowledge across airlines, hotels, tour operators, and visa processes for key markets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (Arabic is a significant advantage).
- Strong network of contacts within the UAE travel industry.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems creatively.
- A true passion for travel and a commitment to service excellence.
- Relevant travel industry qualifications (e.g., IATA/UFTAA diploma) are a plus.
