Working Hours: 8 hours per day, plus 1 hour overtime (standard 9-hour shift)
Job Description:
The Spray & Polish Painter is responsible for the professional finishing of surfaces using spray equipment and polishing techniques. This role is crucial for achieving a high-quality, smooth, and durable finish on various materials and structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain spray painting equipment (HVLP, airless, etc.) and other painting tools.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling, and applying primers or sealers.
- Perform spray painting on furniture, walls, ceilings, doors, metalwork, or other specified items.
- Execute polishing works to achieve a high-gloss, satin, or matte finish as required.
- Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes to achieve the correct color and consistency.
- Follow safety protocols for handling paints, thinners, and other chemicals, including the use of PPE (masks, goggles, gloves).
- Ensure work is completed within the given timeframe and meets quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Spray Painter/Painter, preferably in a construction, fit-out, or furniture manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, paint application techniques, and polishing methods.
- Ability to work carefully and pay strong attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces as needed.
- UAE experience is preferred.
