Accountant (MBA Finance)

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor accounts.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and create reports.
- Ensure compliance with basic accounting principles and internal policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
- Assist with audits and other compliance-related tasks.
- Take on ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional accounting or finance experience in your home country.
- Location & Availability: Must be currently residing in the UAE and available to start on short notice. (Applications from outside the UAE cannot be considered at this time).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Formulas, Charts) is essential.
- Strong understanding of basic finance and accounting concepts (e.g., GAAP/IFRS principles, financial statements, ratios).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
