Job Description:
We are hiring a proactive Site Engineer to oversee and manage daily on-site construction activities. The candidate will ensure work is carried out according to design, schedule, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and direct workforce on site.
- Interpret construction drawings and ensure work is executed as per specifications.
- Monitor site progress, prepare daily reports, and update site diaries.
- Assist in planning work sequences and resource allocation.
- Resolve technical issues that arise on site in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Conduct site inspections for quality and safety compliance.
- Assist the surveyor in setting out and verifying levels and dimensions.
- Liaise with consultants for site instructions and technical clarifications.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience in site execution and coordination on UAE construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequences, and materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project/Planning software.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex structural and architectural drawings.
