Job Title: Site Supervisor
Job Summary
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations at construction or project sites, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and according to specifications. This role involves coordinating workers, managing resources, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities and workforce
- Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, plans, and specifications
- Monitor project progress and report to the Project Manager
- Enforce safety regulations and site discipline
- Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with standards
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment on site
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Resolve on-site issues and delays promptly
- Maintain site records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Familiarity with safety standards such as ISO 45001
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, infrastructure, or real estate projects
- Basic knowledge of project management tools
- First aid or safety training certification
Work Environment
- Primarily based on construction sites
- Requires physical presence and fieldwork
- May involve long hours depending on project deadlines
