📌 Role Overview
An Assistant Manager supports the Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring business targets are achieved. The role acts as a bridge between management and employees to ensure smooth operations.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Support
- Assist in daily business operations
- Ensure smooth workflow across departments or store functions
- Step in for the Manager when required
2. Team Supervision
- Supervise and support staff performance
- Assist in training and onboarding new employees
- Help maintain discipline and productivity
3. Sales & Business Targets
- Support achievement of sales and revenue goals
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs
- Assist in implementing sales strategies
4. Customer Service
- Ensure high-quality customer experience
- Handle customer complaints and escalations
- Maintain service standards
5. Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily/weekly reports
- Maintain records and documentation
- Assist with scheduling and shift planning
6. Inventory / Operations Control (if retail)
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management
- Ensure proper merchandising and display standards
- Reduce operational errors and losses
🎯 Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in retail, hospitality, or operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Basic knowledge of sales reporting or operational systems
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
