Job Title: Multimedia Designer
Job Summary
The Multimedia Designer is responsible for creating engaging visual and interactive content across multiple platforms, including digital, video, animation, and web. This role combines graphic design, motion graphics, and basic audio/video production to deliver compelling multimedia experiences that align with brand and marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Multimedia Content Creation
- Design and produce graphics, animations, and videos for digital platforms
- Create content for social media, websites, advertisements, and presentations
- Combine visuals, audio, and motion to deliver engaging storytelling
2. Motion Graphics & Video Editing
- Develop motion graphics and animated content
- Edit videos, add sound effects, transitions, and visual effects
- Ensure high-quality output for various platforms
3. Design & Branding
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines across all multimedia assets
- Create visually appealing layouts and digital creatives
- Support branding initiatives with innovative concepts
4. Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, content, and creative teams
- Understand project briefs and translate ideas into multimedia content
- Incorporate feedback and revise content as needed
5. Technical Execution
- Use industry-standard tools such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
- Optimize media for web, mobile, and social platforms
- Manage file formats, compression, and rendering
6. Quality Control
- Ensure all multimedia content meets quality and brand standards
- Stay updated with design trends, tools, and technologies
- Maintain organized project files and assets
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong creative and visual storytelling skills
- Proficiency in motion graphics, video editing, and graphic design
- Understanding of animation principles and audio editing basics
- Good time management and ability to handle multiple projects
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Animation, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in multimedia design or a similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing video, animation, and design work
