Mechanical Supervisor – Job Description
A Mechanical Supervisor oversees mechanical maintenance, installation, and repair activities in industrial plants, construction sites, factories, or commercial projects. They supervise technicians and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical technicians, fitters, and maintenance staff
- Plan and assign daily mechanical maintenance and installation work
- Inspect machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out properly
- Monitor work progress and maintain project schedules
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other departments
- Prepare maintenance reports and work documentation
- Monitor material usage and equipment performance

Qualifications
