Job Title: CNC Operator
Job Summary
The CNC Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines used in manufacturing and production processes. The role involves setting up machines, ensuring product quality, interpreting technical drawings, and maintaining safe and efficient machine operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines such as lathes, milling machines, and drilling machines
- Set up machines according to production specifications and technical drawings
- Load raw materials and monitor machining processes
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met
- Measure and verify dimensions using precision measuring tools
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning
- Identify and report machine malfunctions or production issues
- Maintain production records and documentation accurately
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical/vocational certification in machining or manufacturing
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming and machine operations
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with CNC programming software and CAD/CAM systems
