Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance while adhering to safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and carry out repairs
- Maintain facility systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and production equipment
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests
- Install, test, and adjust machinery and equipment as required
- Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and spare parts inventory
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company standards
- Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to minimize downtime
- Keep work areas and tools clean and organized
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- Familiarity with safety regulations and maintenance procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or facility maintenance environments
- Certification in maintenance, electrical work, or HVAC systems
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and CMMS software
