Kitchen / Bakery Commis – Job Description
A Kitchen / Bakery Commis in Hospitality Management assists chefs and bakers in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining kitchen or bakery operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing ingredients and food items
- Support chefs or bakers during cooking and baking operations
- Prepare basic dishes, pastries, breads, or desserts as instructed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, bakery, and equipment
- Store food items properly following hygiene standards
- Help with stock handling and inventory organization
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Operate kitchen or bakery equipment safely
- Assist in receiving and checking supplies
- Ensure workstations are organized and clean

Qualifications & Experience
