Crane Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to operate various types of cranes for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials and equipment. The ideal candidate must ensure safe and efficient operations in compliance with site safety regulations and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mobile, tower, or overhead cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials safely.
- Inspect crane equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow load charts, signals, and safety procedures during lifting operations.
- Communicate effectively with riggers, signalmen, and site supervisors.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or defects.
- Ensure proper setup and stabilization of cranes before operation.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of lifting operations and equipment usage.
- Assist in rigging activities when required.
- Respond promptly to site instructions and emergency situations.
Requirements
- Valid Crane Operator License / Certification (as per UAE regulations or relevant authority).
- 2–5 years of experience operating cranes in construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of crane load charts, lifting techniques, and safety standards.
- Good understanding of hand signals and radio communication.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and high-risk environments.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
- Awareness of occupational health and safety regulations.
