Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically competent Sales Engineer to drive sales growth by promoting technical products and solutions to customers. The ideal candidate will combine engineering knowledge with strong sales skills to identify customer requirements, provide technical recommendations, prepare proposals, and develop long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets and territories.
- Generate leads through networking, client visits, referrals, and market research.
- Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Promote company products and services to consultants, contractors, industrial clients, and end users.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tender documents.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close sales opportunities.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Technical Support & Solutions
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
- Provide pre-sales technical support and product selection assistance.
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate proposals.
- Respond to technical inquiries and clarify customer concerns.
- Conduct product training and technical presentations for clients.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
- Follow up on quotations, project opportunities, deliveries, and payments.

Market Analysis & Reporting

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation, Industrial, or related field).
- Experience in technical sales, business development, or engineering support.
- Strong understanding of engineering products, systems, or industrial solutions.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
