We are seeking a reliable and responsible Light Vehicle Driver to transport passengers, staff, goods, or materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license, excellent driving skills, and a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate light vehicles safely and in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Transport passengers, employees, clients, or goods to designated locations.
- Plan routes and follow delivery or transportation schedules.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Monitor fuel levels, engine oil, tire pressure, and other vehicle maintenance requirements.
- Keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and properly maintained.
- Report accidents, vehicle defects, and maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods when required.
- Ensure the safety and security of passengers, cargo, and company property.
- Follow company safety procedures and emergency protocols.
- Provide courteous and professional service to passengers and clients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid light vehicle driving license.
- Clean driving record with a strong focus on road safety.
- Proven experience as a driver, chauffeur, delivery driver, or similar role preferred.
- Good knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and navigation systems.
- Ability to read maps, GPS devices, and route instructions.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
