Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Manual Driver to safely operate manual transmission vehicles for the transportation of goods, materials, or personnel. The ideal candidate should have excellent driving skills, knowledge of road safety regulations, and a commitment to timely and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate manual transmission vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies.
- Transport goods, equipment, or personnel to designated locations.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned vehicles.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Load and unload goods when required.
- Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
- Follow all safety procedures and company regulations.
- Assist with documentation related to transportation and deliveries.
- Respond professionally to customer and client inquiries during deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle category.
- Proven experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic regulations.
- Ability to read and understand delivery schedules and route instructions.
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is an advantage.
- Clean driving record.
