Heavy Bus Driver – Job Description
A Heavy Bus Driver is responsible for safely transporting passengers from one location to another while following traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Drive heavy buses safely on assigned routes
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations
- Follow traffic laws and road safety regulations
- Inspect the bus before and after trips
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
- Report accidents, delays, or mechanical issues
- Ensure passenger safety and comfort
- Maintain trip records and documentation
- Follow schedules and route timings accurately
- Assist passengers when required
Required Skills

Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Heavy Bus Driving License
- Minimum 1–3 years of heavy vehicle or bus driving experience preferred

- Basic English communication skills may be required
