Job Title: Washer / Helper (Trucks & Tankers)
Job Summary
The Washer / Helper is responsible for cleaning, washing, and assisting in the maintenance of trucks, tankers, and other heavy vehicles. The role supports workshop and transport operations by ensuring vehicles are clean, presentable, and ready for operational use while assisting mechanics and drivers when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and clean trucks, tankers, and heavy vehicles using appropriate equipment and cleaning materials
- Clean vehicle interiors, exteriors, tires, and undercarriage areas
- Assist mechanics and technicians with basic maintenance and workshop tasks
- Check and refill water, oil, and cleaning supplies when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the washing area and workshop
- Follow safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report vehicle damages or maintenance issues to supervisors
- Support loading, unloading, and other operational activities when needed
Required Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in vehicle washing or workshop assistance is an advantage
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of vehicle cleaning equipment and materials
- Willingness to work flexible hours and outdoors
Preferred Qualifications
