Job Description: Vendor Trainer – FireEye (HX/NX/EX)
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vendor Trainer with expertise in FireEye security solutions, including Helix (HX), Network Security (NX), and Email Security (EX). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering technical training programs, enabling customers, partners, and internal teams to effectively deploy, manage, and troubleshoot FireEye solutions while promoting cybersecurity best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions on FireEye HX, NX, and EX products for customers, partners, and internal technical teams.
- Develop, update, and maintain technical training materials, presentations, labs, and user guides.
- Conduct product demonstrations, hands-on workshops, and technical enablement sessions.
- Explain product architecture, deployment methodologies, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Assess trainee knowledge through practical exercises, quizzes, and certification readiness evaluations.
- Stay current with FireEye product updates, new releases, cybersecurity threats, and industry best practices.
- Provide post-training technical guidance and address participant queries.
- Collaborate with technical consultants, pre-sales, and engineering teams to align training content with current product capabilities.
- Support customer onboarding and technical adoption initiatives.
- Maintain training records, attendance, feedback reports, and continuous improvement plans.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Ensure all training activities comply with organizational quality standards and vendor requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Electronics, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, technical training, or security consulting.
- Hands-on experience with FireEye HX, NX, and EX solutions or equivalent enterprise security platforms.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of endpoint security, network security, email security, malware analysis, and threat detection.
- Experience with deployment, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of FireEye solutions.
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, VPN, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
- Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, XDR, incident response, and threat intelligence concepts.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and classroom facilitation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for audiences with varying levels of expertise.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual training platforms.
Preferred Skills
- FireEye/Mandiant certifications or equivalent vendor certifications.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are an advantage.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud security platforms.
- Knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, scripting, and security operations (SOC) environments.
- Experience in curriculum development and technical documentation.

Working Conditions
- Full-time position.
- Travel may be required to customer locations, partner sites, or training centers.
- Ability to deliver both onsite and virtual training programs.
- Occasional weekend or after-hours sessions may be required based on customer or business needs.
