Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Site Architect with proven expertise in high-rise building projects to oversee architectural construction activities from execution through project completion. The successful candidate will ensure all architectural works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and applicable building codes. The role requires close coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision & Construction Management
- Supervise all architectural works on high-rise construction projects to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Monitor architectural finishes including masonry, plastering, waterproofing, façade systems, curtain walls, cladding, ceilings, flooring, painting, doors, windows, joinery, roofing, and interior finishes.
- Ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved shop drawings, method statements, and project schedules.
- Coordinate daily site activities with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Conduct regular inspections to verify workmanship, material quality, and compliance with project specifications.
- Review and approve architectural material submittals, shop drawings, mock-ups, and samples.
- Identify and resolve architectural design conflicts and site issues.
- Prepare and monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Site Observation Reports (SORs), and corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems and project quality plans.
Design Coordination
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior design, façade, and landscape teams to resolve interface issues.
- Review Requests for Information (RFIs), technical queries, and design revisions.
- Ensure architectural intent is maintained throughout construction.
- Assist in value engineering initiatives without compromising design quality or project functionality.
Project Documentation
- Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
- Review and verify contractor payment applications related to architectural work.
- Prepare snagging and de-snagging reports.
- Support project closeout by verifying as-built documentation, operation manuals, and handover requirements.
Testing, Commissioning & Handover
- Participate in inspections related to façade systems, waterproofing, and architectural finishes.
- Coordinate final inspections, snagging, and project handover activities.
- Verify completion of outstanding architectural works prior to project completion.
Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Promote compliance with project health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Ensure architectural works are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions and participate in safety inspections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
- Professional registration or architectural license is preferred where applicable.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in architectural site supervision, including at least 5 years on high-rise building projects.
- Experience with residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, or office tower developments.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, façade systems, waterproofing, interior finishes, and building envelope systems.
