- Manage the project from start to completion.
- Plan project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Supervise site teams and monitor daily progress.
- Ensure work complies with contract specifications, quality standards, and local regulations.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Monitor project costs and control expenditures.
- Prepare progress reports and attend project meetings.
- Resolve technical and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or a related field).
- Typically 8–15 years of experience in construction project management (requirements vary by employer).
- Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, contracts, and construction methods.
- Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is often preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working on construction projects in the UAE or GCC is often an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as PMP may be preferred but are not always mandatory.
