Job Description – Waitress (Restaurant)
A Waitress is responsible for providing professional and friendly service to restaurant guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests in a polite and professional manner.
- Provide menus and explain food and beverage options to customers.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them to the kitchen team.
- Serve meals and beverages according to restaurant standards.
- Ensure tables are properly arranged, clean, and ready for guests.
- Monitor guest needs and provide prompt assistance during service.
- Handle customer requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Recommend menu items and promote additional products when appropriate.
- Ensure correct billing procedures and coordinate with the cashier.
- Clear tables, reset dining areas, and maintain cleanliness.
- Follow restaurant hygiene, safety, and service procedures.
- Maintain professional grooming, appearance, and personal hygiene.
- Support team members during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Waitress/Server in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
- Experience in Arabic cuisine or hospitality operations is preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic is mandatory (as required for the vacancy).
- Good English communication skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
