Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Light & Heavy Vehicle Driver to transport goods, materials, and equipment efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess valid driving licenses for both light and heavy vehicles, maintain assigned vehicles in good condition, and ensure timely deliveries while complying with all traffic laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate light and heavy vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Transport goods, materials, equipment, or personnel to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo when required, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure routine maintenance schedules are followed.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to meet schedules and minimize delays.
- Ensure all delivery documents, invoices, and logbooks are completed accurately.
- Comply with road safety regulations, company policies, and transport laws.
- Monitor fuel usage and report any unusual consumption.
- Assist with warehouse or logistics activities when required.
- Maintain professional conduct while interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Follow emergency procedures and company safety guidelines at all times.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid Light Vehicle Driving License.
- Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- Minimum 2–5 years of professional driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
