Job Title: Finance Manager
Job Summary:
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization by managing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. This role ensures accurate financial records, supports strategic decision-making, and maintains strong internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Monitor financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the finance and accounting team.
- Support senior management with financial planning, investment analysis, and business strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA is preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in finance or accounting, including leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
