Job Description – Operations Executive (Freight Forwarding & Customs)

💰 Salary: AED 6,000 per month
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Operations Executive to support daily freight-forwarding and customs-clearance operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with UAE customs procedures, shipping documentation, and logistics coordination to ensure smooth and compliant import and export operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Authenticate and verify shipping, customs, and trade-related documents.
- Process Bill of Entry (BOE) transactions through Emirsal 2.
- Manage CALOGI transactions, Air Way Bills (AWBs), Export Declarations, and other shipping documentation.
- Coordinate shipment collection, transportation, warehousing, and final delivery.
- Submit exit documents to Dubai Customs and ensure timely customs clearance.
- Liaise with airlines, freight agents, DNATA, customs authorities, transport providers, and internal departments.
- Update job cards and maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
- Prepare daily operational and shipment status reports.
- Monitor shipment progress and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Customs regulations, ISO standards, and company policies.
- Support continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding, customs clearance, or logistics operations within the UAE.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Emirsal 2 and CALOGI.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai Customs regulations, import/export procedures, and shipping documentation.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple shipments, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
