Forklift Operator
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. The role involves loading, unloading, moving, stacking, and organizing materials within the warehouse or worksite while following all safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely for loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
- Transport materials between storage areas, loading bays, production areas, and designated locations.
- Stack and arrange materials safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Inspect the forklift before each shift and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Follow designated routes, speed limits, and workplace safety procedures.
- Ensure materials are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Assist warehouse personnel with receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching materials.
- Verify quantities and material identification during loading and unloading.
- Maintain proper housekeeping around the operating and storage areas.
- Follow PPE and safety requirements at all times.
- Maintain basic forklift operation and inspection records.
- Report accidents, damages, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues immediately.
- Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and logistics teams to ensure smooth material movement.
- Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar material-handling role.
- Valid forklift/operator certification or license as required by local regulations.
- Practical knowledge of forklift operation and warehouse procedures.
- Ability to safely lift and move different types of materials.
- Good awareness of workplace safety practices.
- Physically fit and able to work in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Basic ability to read labels, material codes, and warehouse instructions.
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred
- Experience operating reach trucks, pallet trucks, or other material-handling equipment.
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or construction environments.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse documentation and inventory procedures.
