Job Description: Project Sales Executive – Sports & Leisure Infrastructure

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Project Sales Executive – Sports & Leisure Infrastructure to drive business development and project sales for sports and leisure infrastructure solutions.
The role will focus on identifying project opportunities, developing relationships with developers, architects, consultants, contractors, institutions, clubs, hotels, schools, universities, government bodies, and other decision-makers, and converting opportunities into successful projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong B2B/project sales experience, excellent networking skills, and an understanding of the construction and sports infrastructure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the sports, recreation, leisure, hospitality, education, residential, commercial, and institutional sectors.
Generate leads and build a strong project pipeline through market research, networking, referrals, industry events, and direct prospecting.
Develop relationships with:
Real estate developers and builders
Architects and architectural firms
Project management consultants
Civil contractors and EPC companies
Schools, colleges, and universities
Sports clubs and academies
Hotels, resorts, and leisure facilities
Corporate and institutional clients
Government and local authorities
Track upcoming and ongoing projects involving sports facilities, fitness centers, recreational spaces, stadiums, sports courts, swimming pools, playgrounds, leisure facilities, and related infrastructure.
Understand client requirements and recommend suitable products, systems, and project solutions.
Conduct client meetings, site visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, BOQs, and project proposals in coordination with technical and commercial teams.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal technical teams during the specification and tendering process.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation → opportunity qualification → site assessment → proposal → negotiation → order closure → project handover.
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, payment schedules, and contractual requirements while maintaining company margins.
Follow up on tenders, RFQs, BOQs, purchase orders, and project awards.
Maintain an updated CRM and provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, pricing, and emerging opportunities in the sports and leisure infrastructure sector.
Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders to generate repeat business and referrals.
Coordinate with project execution teams to ensure smooth handover after order closure and maintain client satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in project sales, B2B sales, infrastructure, construction, building materials, sports infrastructure, or a related industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and converting project-based opportunities.
Strong understanding of the project sales cycle and specification-driven sales.
Ability to read and understand basic BOQs, drawings, specifications, and project requirements is preferred.
Strong network among developers, architects, consultants, contractors, institutions, or project stakeholders is an advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and project/site visits.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
