Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, developing client relationships, and achieving business growth and sales targets. The role involves market research, client communication, sales presentations, negotiations, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through various channels.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, online platforms, and market research.
- Contact potential clients and understand their business requirements.
- Present company products and services to prospective customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Arrange and attend client meetings, presentations, and business discussions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with clients within company guidelines.
- Follow up on leads, proposals, and prospective business opportunities.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales and business development targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure smooth delivery of services.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Prepare regular business development and sales reports for management.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Represent the company professionally at meetings, exhibitions, and networking events.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in business development, sales, marketing, or client relationship management is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Good networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated approach.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, if required.
