Job Title: Commis III (Multi-Cuisine)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Commis III (Multi-Cuisine) to join our culinary team at Nehal Hotel Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and hygiene standards, with prior experience in a reputable hotel or restaurant setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.
- Support the kitchen team in daily operations, ensuring all meals are prepared according to hotel standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food items in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Assist in food portioning, garnishing, and plate presentation.
- Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef.
- Monitor inventory and report shortages or issues to supervisors.
- Adhere to HACCP and food safety standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Commis in a reputed hotel or restaurant (UAE experience preferred).
- Basic knowledge of multi-cuisine food preparation.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work under pressure.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Candidates must currently reside in the UAE.
