Purchasing Coordinator

Job Summary
The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end procurement process. This includes processing purchase requisitions, sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Requisition Processing: Receive, review, and process purchase requisitions from internal departments.
- Sourcing & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors. Maintain and update the supplier database.
- Quotation & Negotiation: Request quotes, compare prices, and negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value.
- Purchase Order Management: Accurately prepare, issue, and track purchase orders using company systems.
- Order Tracking & Follow-up: Monitor order statuses, liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, and communicate any delays to relevant departments.
- Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records and files. Use Microsoft Excel to track spending, analyze data, and generate reports.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding order-related inquiries.
- Inventory Support: Collaborate with the inventory or warehouse team to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination role.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, PivotTables) for data analysis and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word for creating professional documents and correspondence.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is essential.

- Age Range: 25 – 30 years old.
