Waiter / Waitress
Salary Range: AED 2,500 – 2,800
Job Summary:
We are looking for friendly, professional, and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, guiding them through their journey from greeting to farewell. The ideal candidate is articulate, has a warm personality, and possesses a genuine passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, present menus, and explain menu items, answering any questions regarding ingredients and preparation methods.
- Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders using a POS system and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
- Order Delivery: Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner, ensuring correct placement and presentation.
- Table Management: Monitor tables, ensuring water glasses are filled, bread baskets are replenished, and ashtrays are cleared (if applicable).
- Upselling: Proactively suggest appetizers, desserts, and specialty drinks to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Billing: Prepare and present checks to guests, process cash and credit card payments accurately.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Cleanliness: Reset tables quickly and efficiently after guests depart, ensuring the dining area remains clean and inviting at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or food & beverage role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality with a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and payments.
- Knowledge of POS systems and serving procedures is an advantage.
