Barista
Salary Range: AED 2,500 – 2,800
Job Summary:
As a Barista, you will be the heart of our coffee service, responsible for creating a welcoming coffee shop experience for our guests. You will prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with speed, quality, and consistency. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, has a cheerful demeanor, and enjoys interacting with people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and tea beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and cold brew, following standard recipes.
- Espresso Machine Operation: Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
- Customer Interaction: Greet customers, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on their preferences.
- Cash Handling: Operate the cash register, handle customer transactions accurately, and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
- Stock Management: Monitor coffee, milk, syrup, and other supply levels, informing the manager when stocks are low.
- Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized work station, including cleaning machines, counters, and seating areas throughout the day.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain excellent knowledge of all coffee blends, brewing methods, and non-coffee products.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and a passion for the coffee industry.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently during peak hours.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
