Floor Manager
Basic Salary: SAR 10,000 + Accommodation
Job Overview:
The Floor Manager is the operational leader on the restaurant floor during service. This role ensures that service runs smoothly, standards are upheld, and guests receive an unparalleled experience. They are the vital link between the front and back of house.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire restaurant floor, managing the flow of service and coordinating all front-of-house staff.
- Conduct pre-service meetings with all FOH staff to communicate goals, specials, and VIPs.
- Act as the primary manager for handling guest complaints and feedback, resolving issues with discretion and authority.
- Monitor service standards, food quality, and cleanliness, providing immediate coaching and correction.
- Assist in inventory management for front-of-house supplies (linens, glassware, menus, etc.).
- Collaborate closely with the Kitchen Manager or Chef to ensure seamless communication between FOH and BOH.
- Manage staffing levels on the floor, making real-time adjustments to ensure efficient service.
- Perform administrative duties such as end-of-day reports, cash handling, and staff performance notes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Extensive experience in a supervisory role within a high-end restaurant.
- Comprehensive knowledge of fine dining service, wine, and beverage.
- Strong financial acumen, including understanding of P&L and cost control.
- Excellent conflict-resolution and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lead, inspire, and hold a team accountable.
