Job Title: Head Bartender
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: F&B Manager / Bar Manager
Salary: SAR 4,000 per month + Accommodation
Job Purpose:
To lead the bar operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional beverage service and a memorable guest experience. The Head Bartender is responsible for cocktail creation, inventory control, team supervision, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, service, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bar Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule the bar team, ensuring all staff are knowledgeable and provide consistent, high-quality service.
- Cocktail Craftsmanship: Develop and create an innovative menu of classic and signature cocktails. Ensure all drinks are prepared accurately, consistently, and presented to a high standard.
- Inventory & Cost Control: Manage bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing spirits, beers, wines, and mixers. Conduct regular stock takes and implement measures to minimize waste and control costs.
- Customer Experience: Engage with guests, recommend beverages based on their preferences, and handle any complaints or issues professionally and efficiently.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure the bar operates in full compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Verify legal drinking age and refuse service responsibly when required.
- Financial Management: Oversee cash handling and reconciliation at the bar. Monitor bar profitability and suggest menu or pricing adjustments as needed.
- Bar Maintenance: Ensure the bar area, equipment, and glassware are kept impeccably clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bartender, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or supervisory role (Head Bartender, Bar Supervisor).
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and beer.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Understanding of bar management procedures and principles, including inventory and cost control.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
