Catering Manager
Salary Range: 9,000 – 11,000 SAR
Job Summary:
The Catering Manager is a senior role responsible for the overall success and profitability of the catering division. This position involves strategic planning, sales, client relationship management, and the seamless execution of events. The manager acts as the primary point of contact for clients, from initial inquiry through to the final execution of the event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Sales: Actively prospect for new business, conduct sales presentations, and negotiate contracts to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main client liaison, understanding their vision, preparing detailed proposals, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the entire process.
- Event Planning & Logistics: Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to plan menus, design event flow, and coordinate all logistical details (venue, rentals, staffing, etc.).
- Financial Management: Develop and manage the catering budget, control costs, set pricing strategies, and ensure the profitability of each event.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the catering team, including supervisors, coordinators, and administrative staff.
- On-Site Oversight: Be present at key events to oversee execution, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the highest standard of service delivery.
- Marketing & Strategy: Contribute to the development of marketing materials and strategies to promote the catering services.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the catering or events industry, with at least 3 years in a Catering Manager or similar managerial role.
- Proven track record in sales and business development.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
