Kitchen Coordinator
Salary Range: 3,000 – 3,500 SAR
Job Summary:
The Kitchen Coordinator provides essential administrative and logistical support to the kitchen management team. This role is the central link for communication and organization within the kitchen, handling orders, schedules, and documentation to ensure the chefs can focus on culinary production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Manage the kitchen office, including filing, answering phones, and handling correspondence.
- Inventory & Ordering: Assist with taking daily inventory, placing orders with suppliers, and receiving deliveries.
- Scheduling: Help the Head Chef in preparing staff schedules and tracking timekeeping and attendance.
- Communication Liaison: Relay information between the kitchen, service staff, and other departments.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records related to food costs, invoices, and kitchen reports.
- Compliance Documentation: Assist in maintaining necessary documentation for health and safety audits.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma required; additional certification in office administration or hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience (1-2 years) in an administrative or coordinator role, preferably in a kitchen or hotel environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication skills and basic understanding of kitchen operations.
