Authority's Approval Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Authority's Approval Manager to lead the process of obtaining all necessary permits and NOCs (No Objection Certificates) from various government authorities in Dubai (e.g., DM, Trakhees, JAFZA, DCD, DEWA, RTA, Civil Defence). This is a critical role that ensures projects commence and proceed without regulatory delays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end process for securing all primary and secondary approvals, permits, and NOCs for construction and interior fit-out projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact and liaison between the company and all relevant government authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Review design drawings and documentation to ensure full compliance with local codes, regulations, and authority requirements before submission.
- Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with key personnel within the various approval departments.
- Track and monitor the status of all submissions, proactively resolving any issues or objections raised by the authorities.
- Keep the project team updated on approval timelines and any regulatory changes that may impact project design or execution.
- Manage a team of submission engineers and coordinators.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of proven experience in an authority liaison/submission role within the construction or interior fit-out industry in Dubai.
- Extensive and proven network of contacts within Dubai's key approval authorities (DM, Trakhees, JAFZA, Civil Defence, etc.) is non-negotiable.
- In-depth knowledge of Dubai's building codes, regulations, and submission procedures across different jurisdictions.
- Strong technical understanding of architectural, MEP, and structural drawings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
