Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, managing the front desk with poise.
- Efficiently manage restaurant reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements using our booking system.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and inform them of their server.
- Answer incoming phone calls, provide information, and handle reservation inquiries.
- Monitor dining room occupancy to ensure optimal table turnover and guest flow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting hostess stand and entrance area.
- Bid guests a genuine farewell and invite them to return.
- Coordinate seamlessly with serving and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest inquiries and minor requests with a positive, problem-solving attitude.
- Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Hostess or in a similar front-of-house role within a reputable restaurant.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and engaging phone manner.
- Professional appearance and a consistently positive, can-do attitude.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Basic computer literacy for managing reservation systems.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
