Chef de Partie (CDP)
Location: Al Beiruti Qatar
Reports to: Sous Chef / Head Chef
Overview:
The Chef de Partie is a section leader responsible for running a specific station (e.g., Grill, Mezze, Sauces, Pastry). You will prepare, cook, and present all dishes from your section according to the restaurant's exact standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Station Management: Take full responsibility for the preparation, cooking, and service of all items from your assigned station.
- Mise en Place: Ensure your station is fully prepared and stocked for service with the highest quality ingredients.
- Quality & Consistency: Cook and plate dishes to exact specifications, maintaining consistency in taste, temperature, and presentation.
- Teamwork: Work closely with other CDPs and the Sous Chef to ensure a smooth and synchronized service.
- Training: Guide and train the Kitchen Commis assigned to your section.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of your station, adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CDP or a strong Demi Chef de Partie ready for promotion.
- Specialized skills in a particular section relevant to Lebanese cuisine (grilling, mezze preparation, baking) is a major advantage.
- Able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a strong work ethic.
