Supervisor
Reports to: Assistant Restaurant Manager / Restaurant Manager
Job Overview:
The Supervisor oversees daily shift operations, ensuring that service standards, policies, and procedures are consistently met. You will lead the floor staff, handle guest concerns, and support management in driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of waitstaff, hosts, and runners during a shift.
- Monitor dining rooms to ensure seamless service, cleanliness, and ambiance.
- Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing coaching.
- Address guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including sales reports and staff scheduling input.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Step in to perform any front-of-house role as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a supervisory role within a restaurant.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations and fine dining service.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic Microsoft Office.
